IMO, the PA Supremes did what they had to do.

There is a very hot spot in Hell waiting for Mark Ciavarella.

Reminder to those who don’t remember. This is the guy who was getting kickbacks from the privately run detention centers. Everytime he sent a kid to jail he was paid.

I would hope there is a spot in general population waiting for him, also.

Hmmm...

Ciavarella...[is] free on bail awaiting trial on federal racketeering, bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and tax charges.

Think of it as a "Coming Attractions" reel.

This is the worst case of political corruption I can recall because of the awful consequences to so many people for this man’s greed.
Pennsylvania is really a state that needs a big broom.

Good. Everyone is suspect. Those kids and families also deserve a hefty payment for their time.

Forget the broom, the state needs something else.

Sisamnes [whom] King Cambyses slew and flayed, because he, being among the royal judges, had taken money to give an unrighteous sentence. Therefore Cambyses slew and flayed Sisamnes, and cutting his skin into strips, stretched them across the seat of the throne whereon he had sat when he heard causes. Having so done Cambyses appointed the son of Sisamnes to be judge in his father's place, and bade him never forget in what way his seat was cushioned.

This judge should get ten days for each day an innocent kid served in one of those detention centers.

There is no way any of these convictions can be let stand, the judges were being paid to send kids to this facility. There is no way any conviction and sentence in front of this judge that sent kids to this facility can viewed as untainted.

Why this judge hasn’t met an unfortunate “accident” yet, shows me exactly how much we are sadly willing to tolerate.
