An official with New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine's re-election campaign was arrested last night after cops found found ecstasy tablets wrapped and ready to be sold in his car, police said.
Jason Shih, 25, was pulled over by East Rutherford cops at about 11:30 p.m. last night because he was talking on his cell phone on Route 17, said Lt. Chris Conforti of the East Rutherford police.
Officers wound up finding 19 "blue star" ecstasy tablets in Shihs car, each wrapped in its own little plastic bag.

Welcome to Obamaland. Jason is just the TIP of the iceberg. There are hundreds if not thousands of Jasons out there working for Obama, right in NY 23.
That’s just bizarre.........
Below the article at the link read the comments posted by “progressivepat” and others. Gives you a good idea of the morons on the left and the drones who vote for Corzine and screw up NJ as well. Shocking ignorance!

Honestly, I don’t like to by hypocritical and I’ll say the same thing I would if this guy were working on our side. How on earth can Corzine be responsible for this? It’s just one lone guy who made a choice. Please...there’s many things to get Corzine on..this is not one of them.
It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up.

EAST RUTHERFORD — A Paramus man claiming to work for Gov. Jon Corzines reelection campaign was arrested Friday night on drug charges after police found Ecstasy tablets in his car, authorities said.
A Corzine spokeswoman said the man does not work for either the governors campaign or the Democratic State Committee.
Jason Shih, 25, was pulled over on Route 17 by East Rutherford police at about 11:30 p.m. last night for talking on his cell phone. Police found 19 Ecstasy tablets and hundreds of small glassine bags used for distributing drugs, police spokesman Capt. William Schanel said.
Schanel said Shih told police he was an official in Corzines campaign, and several tickets to tomorrows rally with President Obama at Newarks Prudential Center were found in his car.
As hes exiting the vehicle, hes stating its not mine, Schanel said. He just said Im assistant deputy director of Gov. Corzines campaign, and they rented this vehicle for my use.
Schanel said the vehicle was rented, but said it is unclear who rented it. He said Shih is not suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol — just very nervous.
His hands were shaking, Schanel said.
Jon-Corzine-speech.jpgFile photoGovernor Jon CorzineCorzine campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith said Shihs claim is false.
No one has ever heard of this guy, she said.
Campaign finance records do not show any donations from Shih to political candidates in New Jersey.
Shih, released on $15,000 bail, is facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession of drugs, possession of drugs in a school zone, intent to distribute drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shih could not be immediately reached for comment.
Republican candidate Chris Christie declined to comment on the arrest.

sorry for the double paste.
In Wisconsin they give out free cigarettes to get people to the polls........looks like NJ has upped the ante.....
If it ever was, it has long since been scrubbed.
“Shoot! A fella could have hisself a purty good time in Vegas with all that stuff!”
LOL!
Perhaps, but records show money going the other way.
I'd say the bigger story, the "meta-narrative", is that two separate stories, from separate sources, have both been scrubbed in a short period of time. Either the story has been falsified, or someone is controlling the flow of information and trying to shape reality.
Thats wild.......the NY Post link has been(and still is) on Drudge, and was working up til 15 or 20 minutes ago....
Bingo nice find.
*smiles*
Oh, just a coincidence I'm sure. No way the Corzine campaign would lie about something like this...right.
