The reason why Pakistan is not doing anything about the Taliban is because they are assisting them.

Only a few months ago I would have agreed with you.

And I still agree with you to the extent of the attitudes and conduct of the IIS. That outfit is totally off on a lark of its own.

But that was before the Taliban started attacking the army and started to inflict large civilian casualties within Pakistan and outside of the tribal areas.

Now the army has no choice, it must put down the Taliban.
