Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Friday that a victory by Doug Hoffman, the third-party candidate in the Nov. 3 New York special election, is a win for the GOP.
Youve got two Republicans running in that race. My upside is that one of them will likely win, Steele said. We want to be supporting the one that wins.

This is like the starving puppy trying to latch on to a teet

LOSERS!
victory has 1000 fathers, yada, yada, yada
next thing, the turd will be saying that he personally hand-picked Hoffman.
In the immortal words of Foghorn Leghorn: “That boy is right in the ball! A little late but right on the ball!
Bad analogy. I like puppies and hate RINOs. ;-)
Where is this stupid MF in supporting the Repub in N. Calif who may have a shot at beating Giramendi.
Unreal.
I said from the start that I welcome the American liberators! An American victory is an Iraqi victory!
AMEN!!!!
It’s not Steele’s fault the Scozzafave is running; Blame the county party organizations that nominated her - and the conservatives that sat on their ass instead of taking back their party.
Foghorn was a classic!
“That boy was about a sharp as a pound of wet leather.”
In a related story, Steele disclosed that after years of trying, he was finally able to find his ass with both hands, it was in his country clubs locker room!
MICHAEL STEELE AND HIS COUNTRY CLUB BUDDIES KILLED EFFORTS TO REBRAND THE DEMOCRTAS AS THE DEMOCRAT SOCIALIST PARY.
4 WORDS FOR STEELE; ON YOUR BIKE SUCKER

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby
Steele is against a resolution renaming the Democratic Party.
Steele is against a resolution renaming the Democratic Party.
OXON HILL, Maryland (CNN) Members of the Republican National Committee appear to have reached a compromise that would let GOP leaders avoid a possible dispute over a controversial resolution that calls on Democrats to re-name their party the Democrat Socialist party.
Steele has come out against the resolution, calling it not an appropriate way to express our views on the issues of the day. One of Steeles allies on the committee, Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer, told CNN the resolution is stupid and ridiculous.
However, New Jersey committeeman David Norcross, one of the sponsors of the resolution, told CNN the language is being massaged so that Steele and others on the committee will be more receptive.
The language is being changed so that the proposers and chairman Steele are on the same page, Norcross said.
He said that as of Tuesday afternoon, the chairman of the RNC Standing Committee on Resolutions had changed the language to condemn the Democrats march to socialism instead of talking about the Democrat Socialist party.
The change was made, Norcross said, so that members wouldnt have to fight about it, and I think everybody agreed.
Wisconsin GOP chairman Reince Priebus, another Steele ally, expressed confidence the proposal will be tweaked in the resolution committee, and that it should pass without issue.
I agree. Steele has had to thread the needle on this race. Better late than never.Cut the guy some slack.
You're probably right, but, maybe not. Steele, Gingrich have stated that it's a local issue, yet they stuck their noses in the election. The conservative, Palin, DeMint, etc., are trying to take the party back and backing the only conservative in the election.
No slack for him, he and his country club buddies are the reason communists are in power in DC.
I’m not saying to abandon or support the Republican party, but I do believe we should 100% fully adopt the Conservative Party’s Platform in the Republican Party. It’s absolutely amazing and I may just vote Conservative Party in any election in which I would otherwise hold my nose and vote RINO.
That sack of Sh$%T must Go Quickly if we have a chance in 2010
