Levi Johnston 'To Take Sarah Palin To Court' Over Child Custody
The teenager who fathered Sarah Palin's 10-month-old grandson has delivered a fresh blow to the former Republican vice presidential candidate by saying he will "definitely" take her to court to gain access to his child.

Levi Johnston, 19, who had a son called Tripp with Mrs Palin's eldest daughter Bristol, has been considering legal action for months but now says it is "inevitable" and that Mrs Palin is preventing him from seeing the boy. A court case over Tripp, during which Mr Johnston may make damaging allegations about Mrs Palin, could hamper any hopes she harbours of running for the White House in 2012.
"I'm up to the point where I can't see my kid again. I'm done. I'm sure we'll end up in court," Mr Johnston said in an interview with The Guardian today. "We're definitely going to court. They started letting me see him and everything was fine. But everything got bad again. So I said screw them. Bristol listens to her mom. Sarah says something, Bristol is going to follow."
Mr Johnston said there had been periods when he was able to see Tripp about once a week but at other times he has had almost no contact. He last saw his son several weeks ago, he said.
The public disclosure of Bristol's pregnancy during the 2008 US presidential election campaign came as an embarrassment to Mrs Palin's campaign. At the time Bristol was 17 and still at school.

Bristol had one interview where her son was present. That’s grandstanding? Wow.
I have no doubt every judge will take all the evidence into consideration, including his posing nude for money. I am sure that if this is the stuff he is doing publicly, they have scads more on him privately, and they will use it to protect that baby.
That said, stripper moms and the like are looked at through the same morality lens as divorce is, and that is against Gods law as well. Crooks getting off with a slap on the wrist, child molestors out in days,abortion legal and 100 percent ok, white collar criminals sentenced to home arrest in the palatial mansions? This is not justice for anyone, and I don’t hold my breath if it is solely based on some nude pics in a gay porn mag. It is a travesty.
There was further embarrassment for Mrs Palin this month when the man who was nearly her son-in-law announced that he will be posing nude for Playgirl magazine.
Mrs Palin’s lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, said Mr Johnston was “always welcome” to visit his son.
Her spokeswoman has previously accused Mr Johnston of making “mean spirited and malicious attacks” on the Palin family and having a “desperate need for attention.” Mrs Palin resigned as Governor of Alaska in July. She has already earned $1.25 million (£750,000) for her book “Going Rogue: An American Life” which is published next month.
Poor BOY. I doubt that any decent female would want to look at his wiener. He's a whiny, dead beat sperm donor.

It isn't a coincidence that we haven't heard a peep out of Bristol in that time either. She's been quietly staying out of the limelight and setting up her custody case- and most importantly, taking care of her son. Oh, she's also been going to school to better herself.

Having been through this I wonder who will be paying for his lawyers. These situations can get very expensive. Sure common sense says a judge could see who the fit parent is but who knows what motives the judge might have.

If I were Sarah I would be round up the ususal legal suspects to sue this like brainless creep. He needs to learn this isn’t highschool and you don’t get to say anything you want and not expect repurcusions.
He says The Palins had an arguement he saw and THAT meant they were getting a divorce.

Is he suing for custody, or merely for “access”, i.e., visitation rights? Sounds as if it’s just for access.
Many would criticize post-divorce fathers for not being involved enough with their kids...
...but then will turn right around and criticize this father for actively seeking more time with his son.

Now it's just Levi trying to shake down his date for money, and soothe his bruised ego, since she dumped him in front of all his buddies.
In a way I'm glad this is happening now, so it's out of the way in 2012.
I'd be interested to see if Levi is, in fact, paying child support, and following all other court orders pertaining to his parental responsibilities.
I'm also curious as to who will be paying for his legal fees. I have a feeling there will be someone pulling his strings in this all.
And you can bet the media will be tripping over themselves to help him embarrass Palin.
