The draft Treaty of Copenhagen, to be signed in mid-December 2009, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations that sign the Treaty. The word "government" actually appears in the Treaty as the first of three purposes of a huge, new, supranational bureaucratic entity that will have the power to require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary "climate debt" - and all this just as final scientific proof that CO2 has a tiny and harmless warming effect is available. Please read and sign the Instrument of Repudiation, and urge at least five of your friends to sign it too, and urge each of them to find five more to sign it. The Instrument will be tabled during the Copenhagen Conference this December. So sign now, and save America's freedom, democracy, and prosperity.

As much as I like him, I think Bolton is being a little naive today.

I am watching but disgaree that a Treaty ONLY signed by the President is “ratified” when it has NOT been ratified by the Senate.

What if American citizens get together and openly, with intentional contempt and disrespect, refuse to pay the tax? We should in fact say up front that the United States has no intention of honoring this treaty in the long term, and that Barack Obama does not have the trust, confidence, or support of the American people. If the rest of the world believes that the American people regard this buffoon as a sick joke--and that is what he is, like the horse Caligula made a Roman consul--he won't be able to negotiate anything.
Meanwhile, feel free to copy, paste, and circulate this cartoon; by the time we are done, not one single member of Congress who supports this cap and trade fraud will survive the 2010 elections, except perhaps for a handful on the Left Coast.

I think it is repeated, but I think it is much later in the evening....like around 10 or 11 pm. Hope you get to see it. Lord Moncton is doing an excellent job of giving MIT evidence that CO2 is being released from the atmosphere and is not causing the harm that Gore and others would lead us to believe.
To: NorwegianViking
So the MIT professors graph proved through direct observation that the warmer our atmosphere the more gases escaped into space?

BUT since it was not ratified, ole Obomination must not be allowed to state this as policy. It MUST be ratified in the Senate. So Obama can sign whatever he wants. It still must be ratified to be enforced.

The Clinton administration pulled the same stuff with a totla test ban treaty. Not ratified by the Senate, however the SecState (forget her name, she did the macarena with Lil Kim) said it would still be treated as binding.

That’s how I understood him. It would be good to know the study though.

I think it was the Law of the Sea Treaty that Clinton signed, but was not ratified by Congress that was also referenced.

The plan to redistribute our earning to the rest of the world.
I bet it get signed and the democrats ratify the treaty.

That is where we fell down. We cannot allow this sloppiness to be precedent for what is REQUIRED - ratification by the Senate.
