Liberal Media: Protecting Roxana Saberi

In fact, before she returned to Fargo, she was in contact with Washington attorney and literary agent Robert Barnett. On May 27, 2009, when Saberi met with Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, Barnett was seated in the office of that meeting. Barnet represented both of the Clintons in their respective book deals. He is also a friend of Hilary Clinton, being one of the first to tell her that the reports of Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky could be true and helping her prepare for her 2000 New York Senate race. On June 22, 2009 it was reported that HarperCollins will be publishing her book. It was disclosed that she had been represented by Robert Barnett, the same man that prepped Hilary Clinton for her debates with then Senator Barack Obama and got her an $8 million advance on her book.

For me it wasn’t a matter of what she was working on. I simply do not care. There are too many inconsistencies from interview to interview and even within the same interview. What she did was foolish and the US media has made her a champion of free speech. She broke laws. My husband is in the military and he knows that when in Rome, do as the Romans do. The position she put our country in politically, instead of giving speeches about freedom of speech, she should be making public apologies. My husband is a champion of freedom of speech. Roxana Saberi is a silly girl who thought only of herself and her career and put our country in the position to trade five Iranian intelligence officers held in Iran for her,” Jennifer, the wife of a soldier on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, writes on her blog.

This is circulating around the military community right now, asking people to expose what foolish things this woman did to put our country in danger. I am a military wife, myself, and I ask that if you support our soldiers, you call out the liberal media that is suppressing the truth to protect Saberi and the fools in office. This is a very long and well researched article, I highly recommend reading it.

I read it again and I am confused
Did the USA have 5 iranian Intel pple and traded them for this Roxana?

The wording confuses me since it says the 5 Iranian Intel pple in Iran.

is this what happened?

I certainly do not support Iranian intelligence officers being freed from Iraq in exchange for a foolish girl who put herself in that position and I do not support the media making a mockery of the Republican party while they protect one of their own.

thanks for the link

Clearly this quote from your link,”The United States insists the five were not released as part of a political gesture to Iran.” explains it all and of course the MSM took the white house at its’ word.

I hope this gets traction. This truly is shameful.

She was guilty and not worth giving up those 5

I agree — sorry that I hadn’t made that more clear. I give the person who wrote the story kudos, though, she has sass to go against the MSM on this story. I do hope it gains traction, too, as I know a lot of families donated their money towards this guilty, guilty woman.

well kudos to you as well. The More this gets out the greater chance this has to wake people up.
If you had not put it here on FR we wouldn’t have known.

This is an outrage. Freepers will spread this around
