The-real-climate-change-catastrophe

"The Climate Change Bill laid down that, by 2050, the British people must cut their emissions of carbon dioxide by well over 80 per cent. Short of some unimaginable technological revolution, such a target could not possibly be achieved without shutting down almost the whole of our industrialised economy, changing our way of life out of recognition."

Looks like the Brits are marching themselves off a cliff and hoping the states will join them, yikes! Fat chance, most people in the states have started to turn themselves around on this issue.

They must have liked living in 1,100 ad - read all about it in the book “Pillars of the Earth.”

80% means no cars to even supply medicine - the west is truly stupid.

The people don't count. The House has already passed a climate change cap and tax bill and the Senate is now working on one. Whatever Congress passes will be signed by the WH.

Yeah, that's my impression as well. I've met some of these loons who think humanity is "polluting" Mother Earth and, at best, want us to live in a tepee and subsist on roots, etc. The whole global warming B/S was nothing more than an attack on the industrialized West.

It's becoming comical.

One of the Weather Channel hysteria mongers was unfortunately caught in a massive early season snow storm in Denver this morning, broadcasting with his head piling up with white stuff.

These idiots are gonna go down shrieking as they get buried in an avalanche.

The writer nails it in the first paragraph. “Short of some unimaginable technological revolution...” Liberalism is the land of unimaginable good intentions that never work out quite like they are planned. What’s worse, liberalism always misrepresents the nature and magnitude of the problem good intentions are applied to. In the case of global warming, liberalism has created a problem that doesn’t exist, and applying good intentions to fix it will exasperate the problem that is becoming obvious, global cooling. It will exasperate the problem by not preparing to use the energy necessary to get through it. But, we should all rollover and let our good intended politicians play this dangerous game, because it is all about transferring wealth and power to the rulers of our future, the enlightened ones. Feel better?

Yep! I also found this about the healthcare debate, it appears Doctors are starting to wake up! Will they shoot this legislation down before it maybe too late? I can’t post anymore since I’m new but someone else should post this one if it has not been posted before...

It will exasperate the problem...

I think you meant exacerbate. Good analysis.

LOL! You’re right. Good thing they both mean the same thing.

They have already exasperated you, what’s wrong is that they will exacerbate the problem.

We old-school word-splitters get exasperated when ever more flexible modern acceptance is given to common errors of speech to the point of interchangeability.

To formalize the process through a semi-authority such as a minor website is to exacerbate the aggravation of such annoyance.

???...

I appreciate people who take the time to correct me when I need it, even if it is on a minor website where I’ve written something of no consequence, so keep splitting those words. Enjoy!
