Obama Internet Czar Susan Crawford resigns
Washngton Post ^ | October 28, 2009 | Washington Post

White House technology policy adviser, Susan Crawford will leave her position in January to return to the University of Michigan Law School where she is a tenured professor, according to the Obama administration.

Crawford, known as a proponent of controversial net neutrality rules, has been on temporary leave from the university to serve in the White House. That sabbatical, which began two months after she received tenure at the University of Michigan, will end in January.

“Susan has done an outstanding job coordinating technology policy at the National Economic Council where her expertise on issues from intellectual property to the Internet has been invaluable," said a White House spokesman. "We understand that she needs to return to her responsibilities in Ann Arbor, but we will miss having her wise counsel in the White House.”

Crawford has served as a technology policy coordinator for President Obama on the National Economic Council headed by Lawrence H. Summers. In that role she has been President Obama's adviser on the development of broadband Internet networks and a net neutrality policy. She has written extensively about net neutrality in her personal blog.

According to her blog, she was founder of OneWebDay, an organization dedicated to solving the digital divide. One of the participating organizations is ACORN.

Forgot who the Republican is that you mentioned.

This article says that Susan Crawford’s sabbatical, which began two months after she received tenure at the University of Michigan, will end in January.

JANUARY, not the end of October.

Gregg quit - now a vocal critic of Obama’s agenda and methods

Ray LaHood stayed on - and spews the Obama party line

It makes one wonder about how politicians will sell out like that

[January - not the end of October]

Yeah, it was in the original article, lol. She left for other reasons.

[Gregg quit and Ray LaHood stayed on]

Don’t know how you remember all of them. The names are not even familiar to me.

“To spend more time with her family” - perhaps

Gibbs complained about 5 and 9 on FNC

Beck and Hannity

Not about O’Reilly

Took me a few minutes to recall those 2 names

Ahh, took me a second to understand. They are on at 4 and 8pm here.

At first I thought you were talking about ‘long hours’ as in 5am to 9pm, lol. But - we certainly know Obama doesn't keep hours like that...

You listen to Rush all the time and are bound to remember a lot of things from his shows. I don't know a thing about what he says.

I keep Rush on but often miss things as I multi-task

Emailed him something today - I’ll be interested in seeing if it shows up

Gibbs is a moron - He has the arrogance of Obama and his thugs - but cannot fake his way through a day now - even libs are starting to question him

-

Obama bringing Gibbs and Rahm into military briefings is a real dumb move - some serious legal consequences could appear

You mean something he may speak about or does he put things on his website? Since I can't hear him I never go to his website.

Gibbs is a dummy, they have to pick someone who is glib of mouth though, so they can ad lib.

Lol, Gibbs, glib and ad lib.

Gibbs and Rahm would have to have clearance for that, right? But Obama does as he pleases.

Rush will often use little tidbits he or his staff see on FR - he and Glenn Beck also go through their emails

Do not expect a reply

Gibbs & Rahm have no clearances

Obama has the dumb idea that they will be both able to be exempt from hearings or oversight because of national security if they attend briefings

Obama is wrong

-

Backing off of FOX was because many dems in the Senate saw an impeachment problem growing

If Obama was MENSA material - he would pove it and flaunt it

He cannot

Gosh, I can't believe Rush could go through all his email devolve. I'm sure he gets thousands a day. I could see his staff sorting through and picking out certain ones.

I have a hard time keeping up with my email and it's just the same people each sending 8 or more political things or jokes a day, lol. Then there will be a quiet day and I wonder if the internet is broke!

Obama isn't MENSA and he isn't wise either.

I guess so.
I go through and delete the ones I don’t care about. Don’t send out any political stuff anymore as all family and friends are seeing the same things I do now.
