In 2003, several counties in Northern Virginia banded together to form a joint task force to crack down on illegals and gangs. Then in March of last year, Prince William County made national headlines by upping the ante even further.
They passed an ordinance that required County police to verify the immigration status of any criminal or traffic suspects when there was probable cause to think they were in the country illegally.
The suspects were held and transferred to ICE, irrespective of the disposition of the underlying charge.

We just has another fatal accident (hit and run) here in Omaha, fault of illegals who have fled to Mexico. Law enforcement was going to try to intercept them in El Paso, TX. They took a bus from KC, MO.
NOT all of Virginia!
The Eastern Shore of Virginia (Accomack/Northampton Counties) is an exact image of the above.
It's called corruption, and guess who the politicians are.
Read about that - hope they’re caught before they reach the border.
BP here in AZ caught cattle rustlers yesterday taking a small herd into Mexico from the Douglas area. Amazing how some things never change. Well, sorta. 150 years ago, we’d have just strung ‘em up and been done with it.

This goes to show you that all this talk about "we can't round up all the illegals" is just so much liberal noise. If you enforce the law and punish those that hire illegals THEY WILL SELF DEPORT!!! The ones who don't probably want to be here for other than economic reasons (i.e. they want to become AMERICANS) and we could then look to assimilating them. In short enforcement will seperate the wheat from the chaff.
This also shows you how local government is much better at solving local problems instead of the Federal Government. Now if all would get on board look at how fast this situation could be solved.
There was a good article written a few years ago about illegal aliens and drunk driving in that area.
I don’t think anything much came of it but someone was willing to step up and report on the problem.
Harvest of death on the Eastern Shore
