main problem here is Daggett
bleeds off support from Christie more than Corzine
43% according to this poll have Christie as the second choice
27% Corzine

I never believed any poll that showed him losing. It’s New Jersey for crying out loud.
To: ScottinVA
All of that pollution in south Jersey must be wrecking some brains in New Jersey.

Rasmussen had Christie +3 on the same day.

It’s Quinnipiac. Show me a Gallup, Battlefield, Zogby or Rasmussen with Corzine up and I’ll start to get worried.
To: ScottinVA
Well, it's a *Quinnipiac* poll, which, based on historical precedent, means that it is unsound.
On the other hand, this is New Jersey we're talking about. Not only must Christie win, but he needs a margin that exceeds the margin of fraud, and that'll be a tall order.

This MAY be out of wack because there are more Indies than Rs and Chris is up nicely with them, but the bottom line is New Jersey voters are schmucks and suffer from BVS Battered Voter Syndrome so Corzine will probably pull it out.

This Daggett fellow needs to be ashamed and let this be a lesson to all you "third-party" lovers.
First Al Franken, and now this.
The NY race is different. See Michael Medved's piece of today.
To: ScottinVA
Christie is the 1st choice of 40% of the voters. That’s not really a winning formula

ACORN will deliver it for Corzine...with 110% of eligible voters in Newark turning out.
Any ideas about how to pre-empt this?Peacefully? Lawfully?

I never believed any poll that showed him losing. Its New Jersey for crying out loud. Oh, he probably was "losing" at one point, but NJ voters can be counted on to cuddle at the feet of the nearest dem come Election Day. Voters up there disapprove of Corzine, 54% - 29%, but seem to want him re-elected anyway.
