Never thought I’d go Ford, but the Crown Vic is looking like the likely prospect now ...
The Crown Vic is a great vehicle. You get a lot for the price. Hubby and I have always owned Fords. We just picked up an Explorer this past Saturday. A couple of salesmen at the Ford dealership said that many people have told them they will not buy Chrysler or GM.
When you get paid everyday at 10 AM and rush to the Quik Stop to buy anything before your money is devalued.
I think they ended production or are about to.
Maybe with this design on the drawing board and in sales planning they (Ford) will reconsider:

CV went fleet-only in 2008 and the Grand Marquis is done after 09, I believe. You can still find a Grand Marquis LS retail version if you look around.
Yeah, I saw that too ... looks like the CV is done for sure after 2011 - Ford said something to that effect to the union at the plant where CV's are assembled ...
