Getting old Alfonse to endorse Hoffman has to be a dem or an RNC plot to smear Hoffman. Yikes. LOL

I know five Repos who are changing to independent. I wonder if there is a trend toward the independents.
To: pissant
I disagree, pissant.
If D'Amato endorses Hoffman, you can pretty much stick a fork into Dede and take her out of the oven.

citing Scozzafava's support for the Employee Free Choice Act as major point against her. That alone disqualifies her in my book.
She has plenty of other points against her as well.

What interesting times we live in...Newt out campaigning against Hoffman and in defense of a candidate who is more liberal than the Democrat, in honor of party loyalty, while establishment RINO’s are trying to get in front of the grassroots movement tsunami as if they are part of it.

Al D’Amato was famous for bringing pork to New York. He made hillary look like a novice in that regard.
His good point was that he was always pro-life, even though that was not popular among NY voters. But he managed to get away with it for a long time.

Why do they keep calling this Rinocrat a "moderate Republican Dede Scozzafava"?

I think we’ll be seeing lots of last minute endorsements by RINO’s trying to ride the “tsunami”. A wave of Patriotism that has taken many years to reach fruition.
We old-timers have endured endless attacks of party loyalty, vile criticism of our stubborn Conservative values and now when we finally succeed in exposing the GOP for what it has become, our Patriotism. Fortunately, educated long-time Conservatives will see through their scheme. The GOP has become NEWTered impotent apologists.
Mrs. panax and I have bailed out of the GOP. They can have their stinking RINO/Socialist/Democrat Party (RSDP).

I will hand it to him (Fred Thompson, that is), on this being early and up front.
Say, where's former Congressman Duncan Hunter, our hero??! His endorsement must be worth something. Tancredo, too.
Even if they are out of office.
Santorum was in there early. We gotta get these guys, former officeholders but still big names, on board.

If he really means it, he should do it now, and in fact, earlier.
Most likely\, he’ll endorse Scozzafava, and then say “I’m endorsing the conservative.”
To: Randy Larsen
Yes, better late than never, BUT we should always remember their hesitancy and the order in which they made up their minds and stood up. This is the mark of a real man or woman in my book. This reading the tea leaves all the live long day and then finally making a stand does not project strong leadership in my mind.
