Interesting.
Personally, I have recently started to take 1000 IU D3 supplement and a 400 IU Alpha Lipolic Acid supplement on top of my regular regimen of a cinnamon pill, niacin bound chromium, Omega 3-6-9 (400mg each Fish, Flash and Borage), as well as a multivitamin Hawthorne Berry, Chokeberry, blueberry, and Apple extracts. I just wanted to up my resistance with flu season comming, but maybe this will help.
