I have seen speculation that this guy has real potential for our future. Any thoughts?

Hmm. Wonder if Mitch is a Republican or a conservative? That is the lens I am going to look through as 2010 approaches. We see it playing out in NY23. Newt is a Republican, Palin is a conservative.

Hurray! And Dems won’t have to apologize to America for Carter!

Oh, wait...LOL!

Many comparisons are being made lately between Nixon and Obama.

What with their enemies list, their hatred and distrust of the media, and psycho behaviors.

Too much of a big government weinnie. Has some good ideas, but is not against big government solutions. I don't trust him on social issues either.

I would choose Nixon over Obama in a heartbeat.

I didn’t ever apologize for Nixon in the first place. He had his flaws but was railroaded by the democrat party and panicked republicans.

Q. What is the difference between Richard Milhous Nixon and Barack Hussein Obama?

A. Nixon had the decency to resign.

sorry, I don’t feel we have to apologize for Nixon. He ended that ridiculous situation in Vietnam that too many American lives were lost more than 30 years later due to Agent Orange, and the toll keeps ticking, because it affects their children and their childrens children.

Johnson escalated that atrocity and the dems should be apologizing for Johnson and Carter as well. There are NO viable democrat candidates. They are all to be apologized for.

Praying that there will indeed be “an after Obama.” Great insight, Governor.

“I have seen speculation that this guy has real potential for our future. Any thoughts?”

LOTS of them....
I’d go to the wall to see this guy become President, but I’m not sure he wants to be.

He’s DEFINATELY got the background and record for a Conservative Mantel, and he doesn’t push on the Social Issues that would force the Center to the Democrats.

Knows the National Scene VERY well (he was Exec Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee), and you cannot dipsute his record as Gov.

Most importantly, he was director of the Office of Management and Budget under GWB, and served on both the National Security Council and the Homeland Security Council.

Indiana is the ONLY state that actually GAINED jobs last month, despite all of the job-killing legislation coming out of Washington.

Which begs the question: what will be Obama’s Watergate? Someone this egotistical with a such a persecution complex will surely will go too far eventually. (If he hasn’t already.)
