Actually, in our conversations, donations never came up. This is out of frustration seeing some potentially good people sign up and after a few comments, were driven off simply because they didn’t understand our culture.
For most, this isn’t about doing more, it is simply about being civil and understanding how internet communities are changing.

LoL I’ve noticed an increase of non-contributors call free-loaders. I don’t want them to feel bad. I had to wait until daughter got married before I could become a monthly. ;-]
As I pointed out to Jimrob yesterday: 'I just checked how we were doing three months ago today. We only had 36% of the 80,000 total in (didn’t include monthlies at that point of course).' At that point we were up to 78% (with the monthlies).
