Richard ‘RINO’ Rairdon Ping
All of them are scum RINOS, especially Meg Whitman. The California republican party leadership is pretty much co-opted by the democrats. All moles, all the time.
He would have made a good czar. I guess O wasn’t interested.
Is it me or does Whitman sound like Arnold when it comes to campaign rhetoric?
I am unmoved. :)
Whitman is probably as far right as California can reasonably hope to get, a stark example of why the rest of the nation shouldn’t follow California’s lead to liberal mediocrity, where the leftist kooks are normal and a Whitman is the voice of reason.
I think she has a bigger set.
aRnold wasn’t in a boardroom much.
The GOP will always be a second-rate party when they keep running Dem-Lite like Whitman
And “Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead”
RINOcrats, all of ‘em!
He seemed to be the "let's be practical" / "go along to get along" kind of politician.
As for endorsing Whitman? Meh...
As has been mentioned here before, all the Republicans running for statewide office will the of the liberal sort.
At least Whitman (or more likely some staffer) realized that taking the "Reagan" approach of making the campaign about three issues might work to get her elected. Also, by focusing on the business, education, spending issues she can avoid those sticky social issues.
As far as social issues go, Whitman doesn't care and will be an amorphous moral blob just to get elected, but if she can make good on the three things she is promising....it might be worth putting up with her.
Why vote for a GoP liberal when you can vote for a Dem liberal?
Oh come on folks, Meg has been a Republican for all of ten minutes. I can’t believe how hard on her you all are. /s
I don’t know how old Whitman is, but she has clearly had decades to familiarize herself and become involved with the issues, and decided to take a pass up until now.
Screw that noise, and the herd of RINOs if rode in on.
She thinks she can pop off with a few sound policies, and everyone will forgive and forget.
LMAO< where does the Republican leadership find these circle jerks?
It’s time to pull a New York shutout on the California Republican leaders.
Yeah, I know, and you are right. When confronted with the choice between a Rep. pretending to be a Democrat and a real Democrat....they vote for the Democrat.
But I think Whitman is banking on the fact the the economy is so bad and so many are out of work that people will vote for the person that they think can fix it all.
Is Whitman a liberal? Hell yes. As as a CEO she was all about growing the company and profits.
Morality? Freedom? Good v Evil? Liberty? Principles?
Hey, as long as she met the letter of the law and kept her company out of court....who cares?
I usually vote party ticket.. so if she is the candidate..
but occasionally, and being as we now live in a ‘No Fault’ culture here in California especially,
I may explore options , albeit as limited as they appear..
Since we don't get to choose our candidates we have to choose between the lesser of two evils on election day.
I believe the low turnout for elections reflects the disgust most people feel for the choices laid before them.
Maybe we need a state initiative to place a BINDING "None of the Above" choice on statewide elected office which would trigger a new election.
Just great, the person who helped ruin eBay to now take over California. Just what you guys need.
Don’t believe eBay was screwed up? Ask any regular seller from a couple a years ago.
Isn’t Meg the one that has been enamored of Van Jones and all he’s stood for over the years?
