So now the cat is well and truly out of the bag. For years, as the number of immigrants to Britain shot up apparently uncontrollably, the question was how exactly this had happened. Was it through a fit of absent-mindedness or gross incompetence? Or was it not inadvertent at all, but deliberate? The latter explanation seemed just too outrageous. After all, a deliberate policy of mass immigration would have amounted to nothing less than an attempt to change the very make-up of this country without telling the electorate. There could not have been a more grave abuse of the entire democratic process. Now, however, we learn that this is exactly what did happen. The Labour government has been engaged upon a deliberate and secret policy of national cultural sabotage. This astonishing revelation surfaced quite casually last weekend in a newspaper article by one Andrew Neather.

Yep. Those upon whom the multicultural demographics have beset, are too immersed in their own sub-intelligent universe, video games, pot, sexx, or sports subcultures. They have been indoctrinated by the schools into accepting the collective over the individual, and are ripe to be subjects of the future NWO.
They just want to be left alone to do their thing, and they will go along with the tide as a matter of convenience. This is what the dumbed-down under 30 group looks like, and they will not impact upon he future multicultural demos.
The parallels are not accidental. It is the same “Third Way” socialist crowd who think they are above law...and the PEOPLE. They will be “improved” by being dragged kicking and screaming into the socialist distopia.
Large-scale immigration to Britain has been continuing throughout the last 50 years. Over that period as a whole, the percentage of Muslims is not nearly as high as tends to be assumed on this forum. Yes, there are plenty of Muslims: but there have always been large numbers from countries where there are few or no Muslims, including those with vigorous Christianity; and from cultures (such as Hindu or Sikh) with long experience of dealing with threatened Muslim hegemony. For that reason the growth in Muslim influence, or indeed control, is nothing like as inevitable as Freepers tend to suppose.
Whether or not the claims in this article are true (and I'd like to see rather harder evidence than the casual recollections of a former speech-writer) it's disingenous to suppose that it's all the current government's fault. This has been a slow burn for fifty years. Over that period governments of both parties have, for various reasons, taken their eyes off the ball. Many recent immigrants are a direct consequence of the original large waves in the 1950s and 60s, through the import of spouses for second and third generations, or of extended family members. In the early period it was Conservative governments who saw immigration as a solution to labour shortages: while it was a Labour government (Callaghan's in the 1970s) which introduced the first serious immigration controls.
So you believe it began with cheap labor - and became a chance for Labour to harvest voters?

Melanie Philips is better than some of the lefties, well, that’s no prize. I’ve read her stuff and she’s an interesting writer, no need to go further except that, as a whole, she is no friend of conservatives. I guess she’s a more erudite and british version of Kathleen Parker but she’s bulwarked with Jewish tradition. She’s never as shallow as Kathleen Parker, but of the same cloth.
