Just in from the Senate Majority Leader’s press shop:
Washington, DC—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will hold a press conference this afternoon to give an update on the merger of Senate health insurance reform proposals.
Today, Monday, October 26, 2009, at 3:15 p.m.
Practically every report agrees that Reid will deliver a bill to the CBO today for scoring, and that it will include a public option with the potential for states to opt out.

They want to present the Psychological deception that things are moving along fine......

If this is true? It’s DOA! The liberals won’t support it..the opt out provision isn’t coercive enough for them...and the blue dogs already said they won’t support anything with a public option. As for us, all we have to do is stand fast and say NO! (Looking at you Senator Snowe!)

They MUST get this thing done and PASSED by Nov. 3, or they risk the Blue Dogs fleeing from it when the Election Results come flowing in.

Oh, I think that the Liberals will vote for it. They will have been told that it can be amended at a later date. I have always contended that a health care bill, any bill, will pass this year, and I still believe that.
They won’t read it...guaranteed.
But WE, the people, will...
