Re: Folks like Pissant gave us Obama
Obama has fired up more people against statism than I have ever seen in my life. Maybe we will be crushed by his policies, but we couldn’t go on the way we were. The feces hit the fan last year with the bank bail outs and the housing bubble pop.
McCain would have cautiously taken us down most of the same roads. He would have just driven us there at 55 mph with his right turn signal on with Palin hitting him in the head once and a while telling him “You’re going the WRONG WAY!”
It is good to see Americans highly pissed off at their government. It gives me hope that the idea of liberty and freedom is not dead and hopefully the enemies of liberty and freedom have vastly underestimated this sleeping giant.
Newt ran like a scalded dog when the Democrats blamed the government shut down on the Republicans. The contract for America was brilliant though. Too bad no one seems to want to stand behind a second edition of the contract for America.
So what you mean then is that you saved us from Rinos like McCain by giving us Obama? Good job Pissant. I see your point now. The only way America can be great it so completely run it into the ground.
Yes, I am a Republican and proud of it. Have been since Reagan’s day. One of him is worth a hundred of your brand of conservativism that will only destroy us. True Republican principles are conservative. If I don’t belong here because of that, I can be expelled, but until then, I think I have as much right here as you seem to think you do.
You obviously did not read my post. I do not agree with Newt. He left me a long time ago. But neither do I agree with idiots whether they call themselves conservative or not.
And that is why he has a chance of winning this. If he was an anti-Republican like Pissant, he wouldn't have a chance to win at all. And that is why I support his effort to beat out the Democrat that's running as a Republican.
No, what I mean is the idiots pushing idiots like Rudy McRomney are the same idiots that push “moderates” like Specter, Charlie Crist and Scozzafava because they are scared that Reagan Conservatism is too extreme. That’s how we end up with the utter mess the GOP is in.
I’m trying to save the GOP from ITSELF, and have been for years.
So if he was strictly a Conservative Party member instead of both a conservative and a former republican, you’d be pushing scozzafava down our throats?
I don't believe in ramming anything down anyone's throat, so I don't know what you are talking about by that. But I think this is a pretty special case. I can't tell the difference between Scozzafava from what I know of her, and Obama. She is pretty leftist even for most Democrats.
It seems to me that Hoffman is running as a Republican, and he has two Democrats that he is running against. That ought to work to his favor, because it splits the Democrats/liberals, and offers a real Republican choice in the election. (I don't really care what platform he runs on.)
What I disagree with you about is that you would rather have an anti-American in the Whitehouse than a weak Republican. That's just dumb, and that kind of thinking is holding the Republicans back from making real progress in America.
I understand that about 40% of voters identify themselves as conservative, while only 20% claim to be liberal. It ought to be simple for conservatives to win most elections, but that doesn't happen. Why? The only reason I know of is that some "conservatives" are too stubborn to realize that it is better to have someone in office you agree with 50% of the time than to have someone you agree with none of the time.
You are a joke Pissant. You claim to want to help Republicans, but in your heart of hearts you think that the name "Republican" serves as a rebuke. You need to get your story straight. As a proud Republican I tell you, we can do without your kind of "help."
I'm talking specifically about this race. You said that because Hoffman is nominally a republican - though he had to quit and join the Conservative Party - you'll support him. My question to you is if Hoffman had no republican ties, would you support him or Scozza?
But I think this is a pretty special case. I can't tell the difference between Scozzafava from what I know of her, and Obama. She is pretty leftist even for most Democrats.
It shouldn't be a special case. Every stinking republican CINO should have a challenger until they learn that coughing up the Specters and Crists and Snowes and Scozzafavas is unacceptable.

No, he's not running as a Republican. He specifically stated the "Republican party left me". He's on the Conservative Party ticket.
What I disagree with you about is that you would rather have an anti-American in the Whitehouse than a weak Republican.
BS. I don't want either in the office. Not sure what you mean by weak republican, but I'll assume you mean liberal republican. I don't vote for liberals, period. You are free to lecture me on the lesser of two evils, but it doesn't fly with me. With lots of hard work, we now have a chance to beat the Republican establishment darling RINO, Charlie Loafers in Florida too.
That's just dumb, and that kind of thinking is holding the Republicans back from making real progress in America
. The Pubbies had a chance to make "real progess" in America, and instead, they acted like democrats in office. And stabbed the conservatives who put them in office in the back.

It's REAL hard for conservatives to win elections when the NRSC, the RNC, and the NRCC - along with the big GOP donors and the MSM - pick a batch of stinking liberals to support and declare as frontrunners. That is why this particular race in NY, as well as the tea parties, is the harbinger of the re-awakening of Reagan conservatism in America. Too bad the bitter clingers at the RNC are too stupid to see it.
You are a joke Pissant. You claim to want to help Republicans, but in your heart of hearts you think that the name "Republican" serves as a rebuke. You need to get your story straight. As a proud Republican I tell you, we can do without your kind of "help."
Trust me sally, the GOP powers don't get a nickle from me. But I've given to conservatives in many parts of the country. Hoffman being the latest. If I had been stupid enough to give the the RNC, they'd be spending my hard earned money right now on Sozzafava, Charlie Loafers, and Meg Whitman.
You have to love pie in the sky idealists even if they are absolutely unbelievable. Pissant, when will you learn that you are the CINO? You're a populist, not a conservative. And never the twain shall meet.
In other words, you want liberal Charlie Loafers to beat Marco Rubio?
Better hang on tight, your RINO wetdream may get dashed after all.
Rubio crushes Crist in Palm Beach straw poll
http://www2.tbo.com/content/2009/oct/14/rubio-crushes-crist-palm-beach-straw-poll/news-politics/
You're pretty think, so I will spell it out so that even you can catch my drift. If I had to guess which between you and the worst Democrat is worse for American, I would be hard pressed to make a choice.
And I doubt that I'm the only true conservative that thinks that.
So give your money to Charlie Loafers. I know my $100 to Rubio is small potatoes, but there are many of us giving. He took in more than $1 million last quarter.
How you draw such infantile conclusions is beyond my ability to understand.
You have to love pie in the sky idealists even if they are absolutely unbelievable
Might be "unbelievable" to you, but the rest of us "idealists" are working for the conservative to make it a reality. Not only freepers, but folks like Jim DeMint and James Inhofe have bucked the NRSC's ignorant primary endorsement of Charlie Loafers, and tossed in with Rubio. Why don't you cough up a few shekels too?
If that was your inference from what I wrote, you need to go back and study basic English.
I did not infer anything, I quoted you.
Out of context. Your post did not mention Charlie Crist; it only refered to him with one of you stupid names that you give to those you hate. As far as I knew (and though) "Charlie Loafers" was your pet name for any Republican that was as nutty as you.
Your comment struck me as a dream that some day with enough effort you might be able to remake the Republican party into the Populist party you desire. It fits with your pie in the sky ideals, and my comment was with regard to that; not Crist.
Newt, you are a complete jackass. I never want to see your face again, unless it is lying in repose.
I guess the “Florida” and “Charlie” hints and calling him out along with ‘real names’ Whitman and Scozzafava didn’t register with you.
BTW, name one populist I support. The people that have been in office or are in office I admire all range from 91% to 98% ACU rating. The people I want to run for prez in 2012 are Hunter, DeMint, King and Pence. All rock ribbed reaganites.
Rejecting the global warming alarmists and the Cap and Trade tax hooligans and the abortionists and the big government apologists and the mexican amnesty pimps in the GOP doesn’t a populist make.
