Didn’t Bush give up golf because he didn’t want to be seen on the Golf course during a war? I guess Obama has no concern about that.
“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.” George W. Bush
I don’t know, but I definitely remember the left caterwauling about Bush playing golf “instead of working”,
and here Barry has played more in his 9 months than Bush in his entire term.
And of course, nary a peep from the left.
I would love it if some firebrand member of Congress were to get up on the floor of the House or Senate and say “0 plays golf while American troops die!” Unfortunately I don’t know if any members there other than Joe Wilson maybe would have the guts. Just imagine the firestorm that would follow. The other side would scream bloody murder about the hate speech. But it would be accurate, unlike the loony rantings of Rep Alan Grayson.
Yes, he did.
