Medical "mistakes" kill 400,000 people each year. Smoking kills around 400,000 annually. That's more than 2,000 people every day. Traffic deaths kill about 42,000 Americans annually. That's over 100 every day. The number dead from H1N1 isn't particularly unusual. It's just getting lots of focus. Look at how much time is lavished on a few sensational cases of missing children. The press makes a big splash for a few, while many more are kidnapped or killed and hardly noticed. It's press sensationalism. Obama's press.
