Actually, I wasn't :)

Sorry, got carried away.

However, I don't see Presbyterianism as an outcome for Sweden. Baptists, with their emphasis on more participation and evangelical movements, perhaps. But the Swedish temperament is more austere -- they will be either athiests or will join the Catholic / Orthodox Churches.

From 1870 to 1949 one of the strongest missionary movements in China and Mongolia was that of the Swedish Baptists. This was not through third countries but directly from Sweden. We have come across several books right here in China that details much of it.

so I’m curious to know when Swedes became that “austere.”
