What I’d like to know his just how do Black Americans relate to him?
He is not a decendent of Slaves.
He has no Black American heritage or culture.
He spent most of his childhood overseas. And in an apartment in Hawaii.
He was raised by typical white people.
After high school, muslim money sent to him Ivy Leage colleges.
The only thing I can see that BO has in common with other blacks is that he was abandoned by his father.
And yet.... Blacks identify with him.
“What Id like to know his just how do Black Americans relate to him?”
Because he tuns on the ghetto accent whenever he speaks to them.
Half a loaf is better than none?
You forgot that his family on his fathers side were slave traders.
That may actually be unfair to the drunken womanizer. Records show that BHO Jr's mother was in Seattle just weeks after his birth, and stayed there until Senior left Hawaii for Haavard. It's a question of who left who.
I have the same question with regards to my paternal grandparents. Never new grandpa, barely knew grandma since the cancer took her when she was 55 and I was 4 or 5. But the story is that they were living in Montana (where my Dad was born) and one day in the late '20s, she showed up at the train station in her home town, with 3 kids under 4 in tow. Kids who only saw their father a couple of times after that in their whole lives.
