I am not sure this is a good idea, right now.

Maybe not right now, but by the time this seems like a good idea, it may be too late. I like that they are getting organized now, just in case. Count me in.

Well I’m sure your way isn’t working.

I am interested in hearing more of your position.

Personally, I support them — may even join myself — and I think it’s a clever piece of political jiu jitsu.

A paramilitary group arming itself and talking of open revolution would, as you say, be a really BAD idea.

But this group is all about LAYING ARMS DOWN if necessary. Who should that frighten except someone who plans to USE the military and police to dictate?

Really, apparently, neither was the Declaration of Independence. You have to look past the inflammatory title of the article. The price of liberty is not inexpensive even though we have had it pretty good until the country got(to borrow a line from General Honore), “Stuck on Stupid”, again! This organization just sounds like a backstop to remind us that the oath we took was to our Constitution not our dear leader. I surely want my military to remember that oath when I look at the decisions coming from the White House.

They ( The OathKeepers ) are not advocating armed revolt , this is what they are saying :
( Group asks police and military to lay down arms in response to orders deemed unlawful. ) ....
They are asking police and the military to stand down in response to unlawful orders to shoot American citizens, and to uphold their oaths they gave to protect the defend the Constitution of the United States.

“I am not sure this is a good idea, right now.”

I believe this same statement was made back November of 1775.
