Oh she was to young to go that way. I am so sorry for you.
If you are not allergic to sulfa drugs, you might want to demand that they put you on Bactrim.
You can take the tablets by mouth and don’t have to be in a hospital or getting the drug by IV.
Below are some references re using Bactrim for MRSA:

I am so sorry. I join you in mourning. My sister-in-law passed today.
Against your sorrowful wishes I pray for you a long life and a quick return to health. I completely understand that you don’t much wish to at this sad stage. G-d makes His plans and we don’t get to see His side of the Tapestry while we are here on Earth.
Many blessings of comfort, FRiend.
What a gorgeous woman. Crying. It’s so unfair.
I look at my kids today and am so glad my SIL slipped her breathtaking red hair and big blue eyes into their genes. G-d rest her soul.
My deepest condolences to you.
I’m so very sorry for your loss!
I can only imagine your grief - but I hope you are getting treatment for your flu...
Please take care! (you’ll be in my prayers)
I am so sorry...I posted my picture in the wrong thread. I mean no disrespect. Very Sorry
I am sorry to hear about your sister. Yes, the body is open to secondary bacterial and viral attacks due to the immune system’s weakened state. Sometimes they name the cause of the death - the secondary infection rather than the flu. That keeps the flu death numbers lower than they should be.
I am so sorry to hear that. God bless you.
OMG, I’m so sorry for your loss.
“CHAMPAIGN, Ill. Researchers at the University of Illinois helped lead a collaborative effort to uncover a completely new treatment strategy for serious Staphylococcus aureus (Staph) infections. The research, published Feb. 14 in ScienceXpress, the online version of Science magazine, comes at a time when strains of antibiotic-resistant Staph (known as MRSA, for methicillin-resistant S. aureus) are spreading in epidemic proportions in hospital and community settings.”

Thank you, Sara.
From the time I got the call she was in the hospital until I could get to her bedside, it was too late. She was on life support and fading fast. Organs failing one by one.
24 hours later after a slew of experimental drugs, she was gone.
She was a beautiful and young 38 yr. old woman. I miss her greatly.
FReeper clamper1797 lost his beautiful wife to H1N1 and MRSA complications this past Monday.

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. For the Lamb on the center of the throne will be their Shepherd and will guide them to springs of the water of life: and God will wipe every tear from their face."
Leni
I am so sorry. I will be praying for you.
