"Early in the Tea Party movement, I wrote about the significant difference between the Boston Tea Party and the Tea Party movement of the 21st century. Namely, that complaining and marching in the 21st century was by no means equal to tossing British Tea in the Boston Harbor and flatly refusing to pay another penny in taxes to a tyrant clearly operating at odds with the American taxpayer."

"Before all peaceful solutions are exhausted and only violent revolution remains, its time for the Tea Party to become tangible and time is of the essence!"
....
"The Tea Party and town hall goers have the power to drastically change the game, if they only will.
They do NOT need to form another third political party. But they do need to form something along the lines of a New Tea Party 527 organization through which they can raise money and seize control of the RNC."

How about it, Freepers? Just think if the 1.9 million Tea Party attendees in DC had put $1 in a PAC while they were there, we'd have $1.9 in seed money to form a PAC. If we all put donate buttons on our websites that go straight to the PAC. We've got to join up to take our country back.
I've put a hand up from my little website to join an effort to form such a PAC...is anybody else willing and able to help set up such an organization?
Your website has tremendous readership, and so do many others!
But when the Republicans mess up, like in New York’s 23rd congressional district, we should be prepared to deliver our message by other means.
The trick is to pick those battles carefully. It has to be a play for all out victory. If we are pushing weak candidates, we are just electing Marxist Democrats, and that doen’t do any good for our position.

I support Doug Hoffman for Congress (PayPal). Please, spread the word about this important election on November 3, 2009 in New York’s 23rd congressional district. |
What is the website address, please?
Has there been any evidence whatsoever that the Republican Party is listening to what is said at those Tea Parties? I haven't observed any such evidence. I believe that the GOP is past its prime and should be laid to rest.
This is indeed the only pragmatic solution possible before the 2010/2012 elections.
If the Tea Party Patriots can remain together as a power base to effect change on the GOP then Good Things can happen.
We need even more people to join us.
The Republican Party is as blind to events as is the MSM. They will suffer the same fate.

We have a small readership in compared to many others, but we like to put up information to keep people informed.
We’re also on PatriotsHeartNetwork blogtalk radio on Monday nights. We’ve started a program with MommaE in which each week we’ll be talking about one candidates in the 2010 election to discuss their voting records, effectiveness, etc.
I know there are a lot of PACS out there, but it just seems like a Tea Party Patriots PAC, could be huge, and maybe we could get some of the other PACS to unite with us.
ONe of the points in this article is that we’ve got to STEAL the republican party back and weed out the socialist progressives from it.
That’s going to take a lot of influence and knowledge of the candidates. We know that McCain and Graham are socialists and were fused into the party years ago...we’ve got to somehow get the power to choke the socialists out of it.
Actually this is a good idea, with one exception I would go along with it. That exception is the PAC be used to help ALL conservative candidates, not just republicans, such as that guy Hoffman running against the scuzzafloosie bag. This would be a great thing.
Exactly! The progressives have GOT to be weeded out, so that the spending and over-reaching authority stops!!!
