That about sums it up. I have long thought that the “greatest generation” should instead be called the “greediest generation.”

I’m retired myself and have been receiving this propaganda from AARP since I was 55 years old. I just put it directly into the trash.
I have lived my life by what my Grand Father told me when I was 10 years old. “Anytime you depend on anything outside yourself it weakens your very nature.”

ARRP sells low quality insurnace and investment products at high prices. They dupe seniors like Obama duped many seniors and baby booms.
Obama is screwing seniors and baby boomers plus America.

AARP is nothing but a subterfuge to sell seniors overpriced products while claiming to represent their interests.
To: cbkaty
Any senior who willingly joins the AARP deserves a death panel. Worthless greedy bloodsuckers.

I know what you mean. When my father retired he lived in luxury on his $600 a month and what I could add. All those long working vacations and sunny trips to the grocery store or mail box every single month were the envy of the poor working class stiffs. But it did give them something to look forward to after a life of hard work (supposing they lived that long).
No Dad didn't belong to the AARP, too tight of a budget but at least they CLAIMED to be interested in him and sent mail while the S.S. only sent letters telling him something or other was going to cost him more.
Dad could’ve looked in the mirror but with his bad eyes he would not have seen much. I offered to pay for glasses but being independent, he said no, he'd save up the money.
He died before he saved enough.
I'd been happy to pay far more in taxes if it benefited him but I know what I paying in was just going into the general fund and being replaced by chits that someone in the future would pay on.
Anyway I have to send off a check for taxes, it seems some banker wants another country mansion and is just few hundred million short.

That article could have been written by my dad...age 75.
If you ever wanna hear a good string of Italian swear words put together in a row, see if you can get a ringside seat for when the AARP calls him for possible membership.
LOL
