On Tuesday, another prominent media member challenged the White House strategy of attacking the Fox News Channel.

This time up at the plate was ABC's Jake Tapper who asked White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs during today's gaggle:

It’s escaped none of our notice that the White House has decided in the last few weeks to declare one of our sister organizations “not a news organization” and to tell the rest of us not to treat them like a news organization. Can you explain why it’s appropriate for the White House to decide that a news organization is not one?

ED GRIFFIN: But to eliminate the others; to execute the others, don't they serve some purpose - wouldn't they be the one's to rely on?

YURI BEZMENOV: No they serve purpose only [up] to the stage of destabilization of a nation. For example, your leftists in [the] United States; all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders. They are instrumental in the process of the subversion; only to destabilize a nation. When the job is completed, they are not needed anymore. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned - when they see that Marxist-Leninist come to power. Obviously they get offended; they think that THEY will come to power. That will never happen, of course; they will be lined up against the wall and shot. But they may turn into the most bitter enemies of Marxist-Leninists when they come to power; and that's what happened in Nicaragua.

There was a situation early in the Bush administration, where a reporter named Jeff Gannon received daily press passes to the White House. He did not qualify for Congressional passes. It turned out that Gannon was really a man named James Guckert, and that he had a past history as a male/gay escort/prostitute.

His credentials were revoked, and there were a lot of questions regarding how he got access in the first place.

Of course today, somebody with Guckert's history would be named as an Obama czar.
