I think oil is still priced too high. I’ll have to admit to that being a gut feeling pulled out of the nether regions, but $80 per barrel just seems silly to me.

This drives my desire to see us use a lot less of it.

Putin is a guy that could have put his nation on a path to join the West and be a transformative figure for Russia. Instead he has made his Eastern alliance. That has resulted in him being a transformative figure, but it will never make his nation great and secure.

He isn’t a dummy. It just baffles me to see him fight the West, when he could cooperate with it and benefit from that cooperation.
