His attorney can make that argument, but it's irrelevant, he's a traitor in the common rather than legal usage of the term. Hope he gets a great defense, and if guilty enjoys prison. And if/when he is tried and convicted, I'll be cheering with the rest.

No disagreement, and dennisw may be correct that there were no actual acts of espionage here. As I noted in my last post no other articles mention them either. But it's hard to believe the FBI would arrest him with nothing more than an "agreement" to "spy". But possible.
