And if/when he is tried and convicted, I'll be cheering with the rest....But I won't be part of a lynch mob. No disagreement, and dennisw may be correct that there were no actual acts of espionage here. As I noted in my last post no other articles mention them either. But it's hard to believe the FBI would arrest him with nothing more than an "agreement" to "spy". But possible.

Absolutely. If he's guilty, he deserves to spend life in jail.
But even if the story is accurate, it hardly compares to the harm Pollard did to our country, so to compare the two is either ignorant or dishonest, IMO.
