Chamber of Commerce backs climate change bill 7 mins ago
WASHINGTON (Reuters) The Chamber of Commerce said on Monday it will no longer opposes climate change legislation, but wants the bill to include a carbon tax.
The Chamber said it changed its position after several big companies left the group to protest the chamber's earlier opposition to legislation to cut U.S. greenhouse gas emissions.

It was just announced on CNBC that this Reuters report is false, not true.
No. Crooked whores looking for a government-guaranteed and subsidized return at the expense of small business and their own customer base. In short, they're stupid scions of those who truly built the businesses they operate: pompous, destructive, cowardly, and self-entitled.
Fox Business Channel was unable to confirm this report, about a half hour ago.
Haven’t been watching since then, but they were not ready to say this was true at that time - sounded like the Chamber itself was disputing the story.
Extortion works.
A carbon tax? For what purpose would we agree to a carbon tax? Wouldn’t it be better that they ask for a reduction of out of control spending before anything else?
I doubt their members want a carbon tax.

WTH is going on here? Didn’t the WH get come out and tell other business owners to end their memberships to the Chamber because of their disagreement over health care or was it because of the crap and tax bill?
