Schummer aka Schmucker said they would do this. There was no doubt in his voice.

They do this at their own peril. I hope everyone involved in this atrocity will be voted out in 2010!

House Democrats pulled the trigger last week on the nuclear option for H.R. 3200, the government takeover of health care, setting into motion the process that would allow passage of the bill with 51 votes in the Senate.

The RATS polling must be telling them there is no way the GOP can retake the House in 2010.

This was the point I made back when the Republicans refused to use the then appropriate "Nuclear Option" to get some badly needed judges onto the courts. They didn't want to set a precedent for the Democrats if they took control of the senate. My view is that nothing will stop the unethical Rats. This is proving me out.

Going nuclear on 1/5th of the US economy is much more serious than placing Justices that the Dimwitts kept filibustering, yet that don't stop the vindictive nitwitted Democrat Children from carrying out their dastardly economy and freedom destroying plans.

Where are all the news stories on the Democrats using the “nuclear option”? I seem to recall round-the-clock coverage on this issue when the Republicans were contemplating it. Now that it is Democrats, it’s suddenly a non-story?

Can you imagine what the uproar would be if a Republican Congress made Medicare issue a GAG order to private insurers?

We would have Dems rioting in the streets.

I can't believe that we just let that happen without at least rattling a few Dem cages.

Thus IS fascism.!!!!!

It will be too late, even if we do well in 2010. Let's suppose that Republicans make massive midterm gains and then repeal parts of Obamacare in 2011. Guess who will VETO any such legislation? Obama.

This health care monstrosity must be stopped this year. If you know anyone in NJ or VA, please ask them to vote Republican on November 3. If the GOP can win both statehouses, health care will be all but dead. This is why Clinton, Biden and Obama are all going into New Jersey this week. The stakes are that high.

Or:

a. The Rats will lose any and every election next year, so piss in the punch bowl while you can.

-or-

b. There will be no elections next year. Barry 0 ‘suspends’ them. Civil War 2 commences.

Of course if conservatives win BIG ENOUGH they may be able to overturn an Obummer veto. But they would have to win big, very very big and in every state and for the majority of open seats. It may tke a miracle but miracles do happen and I believe in them. It could happen given the mood of the majority of the country right now.

Visit one of the CNN or MSNBC blog sites and you’ll find out just how ignorant people are in this country. In response to Senator Gregg (R-NH) decrying that deficits over the coming decade will consume 80% of GDP and will of course result in reduced standards of living for all Americans, these economically ignorant people at CNN don’t even understand why this is factually true. They honestly believe that the source of money is a printing press and that government spending is an alternative mode of creating wealth! This is getting very dangerous for our nation.
