I think you have hit on something with this "adult children" theory. To support this idea I offer the following example: The Rise of Halloween.
I am 61 years old. Of course I remember the thrill of late October nights, out in the neighborhood after dark trick or treating, the anticipation of theevening with school parties, and the excitement of the Disney Halloween special with "Night on Bald Mountain" and "The Headless Horseman."
But when I got into junior high school, we switched to parties. And by the time I was in high school we all had lost interest, as it was a children's holiday.
About 25 years ago I started noticing an increase in Halloween merchandise. And the new stuff was geared to adults. Now there are Halloween outdoor lights, Halloween jewelry, tons of adult costumes, etc.
For my nieces, who are in their mid-twenties, Halloween is one of the big holidays. In fact, my younger niece's engagement party will be a Halloween party.
Although my nieces have had a close relationship with their parents, they are members of a generation that wasn't, and reflect those attitudes.
I agree with you that Obama's people have read the American psyche well. The trick will be to counteract that influence, which is going to be very hard.

Agree the press was complicit and didn’t want to investigate this President’s questionable ties. These people won’t be happy til they control not just the media, but the population by taxing us into slavery.

+++++As for "news organizations" that won't play along with the "controlled news" operations of the White House? Why, they're "not legitimate news organizations."++++++ __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Finally...someone that understands!!! These are not legit "journalists", it's just a tactic and arm of the corrupt government to indoctrinate a society!
