They flashed wads of money and brazenly showed off military-style assault weapons on MySpace.com. They started fights in clubs, distributed drugs throughout Palm Beach County and left a trail of more than a dozen bodies.

They called themselves Top 6. And they were the most violent gang in Palm Beach County history.

They influenced most of the drug trade in Lake Worth and parts of the trade in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton during their latter years.

Top 6 and some of its affiliates trace their origin to 1998 and a Lake Worth High School class for nonnative speakers of English. There, groups of mostly Haitian students formed little cliques for camaraderie and protection.

Ahhh, the DELICIOUS FRUITS OF DIVERSITY ! ! ! !

I respectfully submit that while bringing these thugs to justice is a great thing, they’ve been at it for over a decade. Ignoring the murders alone, what is the price tag for all the crimes these dirt bags have been involved in, and how much more will it cost to try, convict and then incarcerate them?

Apparently it was politically incorrect to charge and send these thugs up because they are BLACK, or HAITIAN, or DISADVANTAGED, or some damn thing. The city/county officials who allowed these clowns to operate for 10 years should join them in the pen!!

Bingo! on the bell curve comment. But let’s not forget the other end of the curve:
>> ... they often beat charges or spent only short stints in prison.
These slimebags were defended by a tribe of the legal profession’s best and brightest.

When I was in Medical School and residency, it was in the heart of one of the worst black ghettos in the U.S. When I saw the children I felt like crying. No, I am not an Oprah guy! I have seen too many young people shot, knifed and beaten up and stood in too much blood to buy that claptrap. What is needed is a counterinsurgency program for America’s cities. To hell with the race baiters (Sharpton, Jackson and the black caucus etc). Move in and clean these neighborhoods up so the vast majority of good people living there have a chance at life. I know many politicians have a lock on their seats but if those in more conservative districts support this race baiting and outright genocide of black on black, vote them out. It will take a generation until mothers, children, grandmothers and good black men will be set free but until we do this, they are, for the most part doomed. P.S. it will save a lot of money in police costs as well as rehabilitating neighborhoods thugs like those in the article create.

What is the immigration status of these foreign born thugs? If they are not citizens, why were they not removed from our country after the very first of their doubtless multiple brushes with the law? Even legal permanent resident Green Card holders are subject to removal after conviction for a felony.
