Axelrod: Fox 'not really news' By: Mike Allen October 18, 2009 09:22 AM EST
White House senior adviser David Axelrod said Sunday that the Fox News Channel is "not really a news station" and that much of the programming is "not really news."
"Im not concerned," Axelrod said on ABC's "This Week" when George Stephanopoulos asked about the back-and-forth between the White House and Fox News, founded by Rupert Murdoch.
"Mr. Murdoch has a talent for making money, and I understand that their programming is geared toward making money. The only argument [White House communications director] Anita [Dunn] was making is that theyre not really a news station if you watch even its not just their commentators, but a lot of their news programming.
"Its really not news its pushing a point of view.

This gets to be even funnier when you realize it is being reported on Leftist propaganda cite Politico.
That's right...people will pay for the truth!
blam: “Axelrod not really human.”
Of course not. No previous Administration in the history of the nation has been 1/100th as obsessed with a lone media outlet.
They should worry about al Qaeda as much as they worry about FoxNews.
AXELROD: DUMBER THAN DIRT
All these Fox really isn’t news articles say one thing to me. Democrats are terrified of the truth.
Just not yours ... scumbag!
“Laughable............”
That’s OK. The Kenyan isn’t really president and his polls aren’t really dropping.
And I suppose Georgie challenged him by citing the neutral organization that determined Fox was the most evenhanded?

0bama is not really American-born, either.
Worse, he is an anti-American, collectivist and totalitarian statis. A stinking, filthy, slimy, smarmy communist.
To him, we are just the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat. Suitable only to obey withouth question, or to be lined up in front of a machine gun with a deep trench to our backs.
Bama not really President.
But I'll bet that fact checking a SNL skit is hard-hitting journalism at it's best!
Axelrod needs to understand that was ACORN’s position too...you remember ACORN? The organization that Congress defunded as a result of Fox News coverage?
Axelrod...it could happen to your administration too. Just keep it up.
Why should he be concerned? Its not like FNC is beating all of the other propoganda outlets combined or anything.
Oh wait...
because Fox is not government run media
For a group of trash like the Zero administration is, they certainly sound concerned. It's all they talk about.
Now all you Media lapdogs OBEY or the 0 regime will get really angry with you
LOL! The WH is soooooo thin-skinned and obviously butt-hurt.
Whine, whine, whine, whine.
