SNEAKY DECEPTIVE DEMOCRATS to ATTACH HEALTH CARE BILL to A TAX BILL to Jam Thru PUBLIC OPTION

Democrats' secret 4-step plan to jam public option!!

Step 1:

The Senate Finance Committee must first approve the marked-up version of Sen. Max Baucus (D.-Mont.) conceptual framework. Then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) can say that two Senate Committees have passed a health care bill, which will allow him to take extraordinary steps to get the bill on the Senate floor.

During the mark-up last week, members had difficulty offering amendments and trying to make constructive changed because they lacked actual legislative text and Baucus made unilateral last minute changes. For example, the AP reported that under pressure from fellow Democrats, the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee decided to commit an additional $50 billion over a decade toward making insurance more affordable for working-class families.

Step 2:

Sen. Reid will take the final product of the Senate Finance Committee and merge it with the product of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, which passed on a party-line vote in July.

Usually, a bill is voted out of committee, and then the Senate takes up the final product of the committee so that all 100 senators can have a hand in the process. With some help from the Obama administration, Reid will decide what aspects of the HELP and Finance Committee bills to keep.

Step 3:

Now, Obamacare will be ready to hitch a ride on an unrelated bill from the House. Sen. Reid will move to proceed to H.R. 1586, a bill to impose a tax on bonuses received by certain TARP recipients. This bill was passed by the House in the wake of the AIG bonus controversy and is currently sitting on the Senate Legislative Calendar.

The move to proceed needs 60 votes to start debate. After the motion is approved, Sen. Reid will offer Obamacare as a complete substitute to the unrelated House-passed bill. This means that the entire healthcare reform effort will be included as an amendment to a TARP bill that has been collecting dust in the Senate for months.

Step 4:

For this strategy to work, the proponents would need to hold together the liberal caucus of 58 Democrats (including Paul Kirk who was named last Thursday to replace Sen. Kennedy), and the two Independent senators (Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Bernie Sanders of Vermont). These members will have to all hold hands and vote against any filibuster. Once the Senate takes up the bill, only a simple majority of members will be needed for passage. Its possible one of the endangered moderate Democrats, such as Sen. Blanche Lincoln (Ark.), could vote to stop a filibuster then vote against Obamacare so as not to offend angry constituents.

Once the Senate passes a bill and sends it to the House, all the House would have to do is pass the bill without changes and President Obama will be presented with his health care reform measure. If this plan does not work, the Senate and House leadership may go back to considering using reconciliation to pass the legislation.

Adopting this secret plan will not strike most Americans as a transparent, bipartisan, effective way to change how millions of Americans get their health care.

Words.

I go from forum to forum..and I see a lot of big talk. Words.

You had over a million people march on washington, yet it was reported as 10,000 people. How come? Because it made such and impact? They tried to make people who could see..into legally blind. How could anyone see those pictures, and think there were only a few thousand people there?

Only, your government isnt really blind. They can see. They can see the amount of people. They can see the political polls. They know where americans are, on their positions. And yet, they bring in phoney doctors for a photo shoot and thats their answer to everyone protesting..and the words in forums and a comment sections of news articles, all over the net.

The bottom line is..its over for us.

You can shout and type your brains out. You can email, write and send them 3 million pick slips, costing individuals 35 bucks each..but you cant stop them.

If they want to pass this bill, be it underhanded or not..they will..and we cant do a damned thing about it.

You tell ME. What can you do? Short of lightning stricking that building, with them all in it..you cant stop them.

Now..if you want to continue quoting from silly american, teenaged mentality movies, then be my guest.

Bottom line..if they want to pass healthcare, they will and unless we move to some other country..thats what we will get.

Their way..not our way..because as nancy pelosi said..THEY won the election.

I am watching.

So far, I saw a protest, where we all saw over a million people, be called a few thousand.

I have seen town meetings, where we were called nazis, astro turf, mobs..and your reps not wanting to show up and if they did, not answering questions, but trying to argue with people, who they know are right.

Lets, see..what else did I watch? Thousands of comments, on forum after forum, in comments beneath articles. I see a lot of big talk. I see talks about revolutions, about guns, about all sorts of stuff. Big talk. No action.

Not that I think violence is the way to go. It isnt. This isnt the 1700s. Today, a revolution would be called a riot and everyones asses would be in jail.

So, yeah..I am gonna watch...but, what I am gonna see..is a handful of men, and women who are worse then them, decide your future and mine..because nancy said they won the election.

There is absolutely no way to stop these people, and once a bill is signed, nobody who gets elected next, will overturn it.

So..keep my name..and be sure to tell me what it is you want me to watch.

By now, after months of news watching, I am bitter and realistic. But, I am willing to watch, whatever event you think will take place, to stop this healtcare reform.

I think it’s odd that Obama, Nancy and the rest of the communists keep telling us they won the election.

About having a little faith. We didn’t get into this situation overnight.

We dont have time for faith...because they are closing in. Unless you believe in miracles, some plan is going to pass and then they can tack anything on to it later.

No..we didnt get into this situation overnight, when you include national debt, stimulus, etc...but, I am taking about healthcare..which is the topic here...and this came up pretty quickly and mostly behind closed doors, until the summer.

And that doesnt even matter, since it doesnt matter how long we knew, or how long it takes. What matters is that they can do this..and we can do nothing.

I have faith in certain things. I have NO faith in this situation...because I am not a dreamer. The reality is..they can do as they please and we can do nothing.

If your government took the people into consideration, instead of pretending that this is what the people wanted, we wouldnt have to worry.

If they put this issue to a public vote..we wouldnt have to worry.

But, they are bound and determined to force this down our throats, and even if you threaten to shove it up their butts in 2010..its too late. Once its signed its in.

Hey man, I hear you. I was there in Washington. I call my Congress critters every week. I write letters to the editor that the LIBs won’t print and I am as frustrated as anybody. But to suggest (after one month on FR) that we pack it in or do something beyond talking, is irresponsible cackling. If you are here to troll, GOODBYE. If you are serious, show som leadership.

IOW, Lead, follow or get out of the way.

Um..is free republic the only forum on the internet? Plus do you have any idea how long I was reading here before I joined. Or if I used to use some other login?

You assume everyone is a troll because they dont think exactly like you? Isnt that what libs do?

I said it on some other forum and I will say it here. I have my own beliefs and my own thoughts and I dont give a damn if they fit in with yours. I didnt come here to change YOUR mind, and I dont expect you to try and change mine.

If you are even a tiny bit realistic, and have witnessed what has been going on, then you too would realize, our hands are tied. Those who voted these asses in and the biggest ass, sitting in the oval office, tied our hands for us.

They will do what they damned please up there..wake up.

And I have no intentions of saying goodbye because I dont happen to agree with you and others, who are obviously in lalaland.
