Reveille is her name, and the mascot is an Aggie tradition which going back to 1931.
“Company E-2 has the privilege of taking care of Reveille. If she is sleeping on a cadet’s bed, that cadet must sleep on the floor. Cadets address Reveille as “Miss Rev, ma’am.” If she is in class and barks while the professor is teaching, the class is to be immediately dismissed.”

And yes, she should have bit the Stalinst-In-Chief in rebuke for his making nice with Chavez & other Marxist latin American dictators.

Damn.
I want to be that dog in my next life.
Seriously though, thanks for the very interesting facts about the dog, including it’s name and company.
I have an Australian Shepard now, after several previous dogs that were all very special to us, we considered them family.
Giving up a bed for the dog, I think is going a bit too far though.
Good on them.
