Remark on Bishop Tiny Muskens’ idea of calling GOD; “Allah”
He asserts that in Indonesia - where he worked for 8 years - Christians are using this word.
This is not quite true. Christians use the combination TUHAN ALLAH, to distinguish from the islamic Allah.
Furthermore In Birma it is forbidden for christians to use the word Allah. This should be reserved for the Islam people. I HAVE SPENT FOUR YEARS IN INDONESIA.
“A device in the basement”?
Wouldn’t they say “furnace,” or “hot water heater,” if it was something simple like that? This isn’t rocket science—I don’t think.
Not that reporters these days can get the 5 W’s correct even in perfectly innocent stories.

I noticed that my remark on Muskens’ use of ALLAH has not been placed under the heading “Tiny Muskens”, but under a heading of arson on a islamic school. Could it be moved to the right place?
Furthermore I would like to send you - as an annex - a remark sent to the “highpriest” of atheists Richard Dawkins. Could I get an e-mail address to post it?
