Yankees fans were stunned after beloved "God Bless America" singer Ronan Tynan got himself tossed from tonights American League Championship game for making a nasty anti-Semitic remark.
The famous Irish tenor who has become a iconic staple of New York Yankees playoff games for much of this decade admitted to making the slur Thursday to a Jewish woman who was looking to buy an a apartment in his East Side building, a team spokeswoman said.
His gig singing for last night game was then cancelled. It was a move that even Yankees fans who loved the singer agreed with.

PC IDIOTS!
When you live in a totalitarian society, I bet you don’t realize it for a while. I think this is the stage we are at.
Meanwhile, Mohammadan groups are besieging him with request to perform for them...
A regular guy can make some inoffensive crack about Jews and they rake him over the coals for it. But a big guy can give aid and comfort to the people whose unending goal is the genocide of Jews and they vote for him in droves. Kind of puzzling, when you come right down to it.
Where was the slur? He said he hoped they were not Jewish and that there had been a lot of scary Jewish ladies looking at the apartment. Where’s the slur?
Must be a NYC thing. I’ve never heard of the “famous Irish tenor” Tynan. Seems to be anti-semitic, since you would think that in bad economic times he would be quite happy to “sell” an apartment in his building.
Do people have to “buy” apartments in NYC instead of renting or leasing them? ....Just askin’.

He was then offered a position in the State Department.
Now if he had said, “this is turning into HYMIE TOWN”, he could have used the Al Sharpton defense, or was it Jessie Jackson. (I get my bigots confused.)
It was Jackson. But, if I remember correctly, that remark drove Jesse out of the 1988 election.
Ive never heard of the famous Irish tenor Tynan

Wow ! Please google Ronan Tynan and listen to him. AMAZING! He is a physician who lost both legs, I believe in an accident. He did a lot of singing at services throughout the 911 days.
WTF??????? Does this mean that this Dandeneau guy might be (GASP!) half-Baptist? I wonder if it's his right or left side that's Jewish? I wonder if each side actually fights among itself?
This is frightening to me. My mother was Baptist and my father was Episcopal. I never thought about it until now...what am I...half Baptist or Episcopal? Maybe I have been going to the wrong church all my life. Have I have been an anti-Baptistmite or anti-Episcopalmite. Inquiring minds have to know. Being a half-religion is a terrible thing.
He has a considerable cult following in the Norteast with all the Irish-Americans who live there. Plus he’s a fixture singing at important Yankee games...or has been.
Maybe he just ran into some big-mouth liberal women from the Upper West Side that he associates as “Jewish” and was afraid of renting to one. He says he was joking—who knows?
Maybe he just has a stupid sense of humor.
Maybe Ronan lacks the required extreme-left bona fides to be able to get away with it. He sings “God Bless America,” after all. Sounds like a real right-wing nut. (s/o)
Let’s see: someone buying an condo in Manhattan the chances
that they’re Jewish- 1 in 1!
Might be interpreted as saying he would not sell to Jews. A dumb and bigoted remark.
Ironically I saw him on Morning Joe last week, lol.
Tynan is known internationally. I'd wager that there are quite a few things you've never heard of.
