However, the attacks were not going to quit, Alaska law differs from most because it allows Governors to be attacked with ethics charges over and over, which she was. The attacks were costing Alaska, not just Sarah, big bucks to fight.
She was fighting in the only legal way she had and it was draining Alaska's resources. She mainly quit for the good of Alaska.
Her replacement is carrying out her agenda and Alaska is doing fine and the draining of revenue from Alaska has stopped.
