That’s like apologizing to a man you ran over and has died .... at his burial site.

CNN is covering their rear end.

Sanchez is just a drive-by reporter, literally.

Here’s hoping that that slimy piece and CNN become a lot lighter in the wallet after Limbaugh gets through with them.

Yep, it’s Friday and I expect much of the same from outlets this weekend. They tried to destroy Rush in a calculated way have have been busted.

I pray Rush goes after them and owns CNN in the end, but I look for Rush to move on.

Can anyone imagine the amount calls lawyers are having to make in the last couple of days informing their clients of their possible legal exposure if they publicly repeat the bogus quotes? It's a wonder the phone lines haven't melted down.

That is a half baked apology to his viewers , nothing to the victim . He should swim back to Cuber and regain an appreciation for free speech and dissent .

Well, Sanchez surprises me by actually saying, “I apologize.” This might be the first time he’s done that.
Yesterday, I posted in FR that Sanchez wasn’t man enough to apologize. Looks like I was wrong about that.

It’s a pretty good apology. At least, it’s not an “I’m sorry TO THOSE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN OFFENDED” apology.
What would have made it better is his admission of bias. “What particularly troubles me,” he could have said, “is that I’m quite sure we never would have run this story about a prominent liberal. If we heard allegations that Ted Kennedy said something equally shocking, we’d have nailed that story down hard before ever running it. But we didn’t do that about Rush Limbaugh, and we are left to wonder why.”

You bet they are coverinng their rear end. There is a good chance there will be a law suit out of this defamatory series of events. There are several networks and a law firm on the wrong side of the issue.
