You can shut it down if you want. That won't change the fact that you wrongly said that mental abuse of children was not against the law.
I wasn’t talking about psychological abuse according to the law (ie threatening harm, terrorizing, isolation).
I was talking about what the Heene’s are doing to their children, teaching them unruly, disgusting behavior as cute and something to be filmed and put online. Also, cussing and yelling at the children is abusive (IMO) although not illegal.
Someone I love dearly was told that their conception was an accident. That the mom considered abortion and her life would have been easier if she hadn’t had children. She said these things in frustration sometimes and they hurt her child. Otherwise, she loved her child and gave the child a good life. This is the kind of thing I was thinking of when the term “mental abuse” came up.
I was wrong to say that mental abuse was not against the law. I incorrectly used the term. Please forgive me. I concede the point. (Enjoy, there aren’t alot of people on here that will easily admit they are wrong, I am one of them) ;)
