Gingrich says Scozzafava is "The Future of the Party"
"Gingrich, however, seems not to care about this brewing, inner-party divide. Instead, he championed Scozzafava's candidacy on Friday as the future of the party -- not necessarily the harbinger for a lingering party divide, as some pundits have speculated.

No more RINO’s.If they’re not Conservatives or have a major conservative background,Don’t vote for them.
The RINO’s in the Republican party have placed us into such a deep hole we may never dig our way out of it.

Just like Lindsay Lohan Graham. It's all about (R) winning, that's it. Conservatism is only considered if they think it will win them the election. It is jettisoned whenever necessary to win. It's also discarded once in office, for the sake of "reaching across the aisle". Power is all that matters to these pols. They have no honor.

For that matter why don’t prominent conservatives just proclaim that they are the American centrists? Why continue to fall into the left’s trap and keep referring to themselves as the right? Paint the left with their own brush. They are the radical far left and we are the common sense middle. Just say it and make them justify sticking needles in babies heads and sucking their brains out as not radical.

Newt was a genius back when he promoted conservatism as the political engine for a partisan GOP agenda and attack strategy against the Dems. Back before Newt became engaged in bipartisan crapola like this.
For this conservative, Newt's worn out his welcome.

Gingrich just needs to butt the hell out of politics. He had a run of about 5 good years. But that run ended in 1994. Since then he has been an unprincipled prima donna.
Get lost, you idiot

How could a person who support global warming, cap-and-trade, Obamacare, is anti-gun, pro-abortion, and pro-taxes be “the future of the party”.
I still haven’t heard a single thing this woman has said that makes her a republican, except that she has an “R” by her name on the ballot.
I’d like to understand what she does that is in support of the republican party positions?
To: ConservativeMind
Gingrich is not unlike alot of other ‘appeasers’ right now. In his mind, idiology is not important, the only thing that’s important is getting people with an (R) behind their name elected, despite the fact that they are just as liberal as Dims. Sorry Newt, we’re tired of this, we’re not voting for RINOs anymore just to stock (R)s in the congress. We want people who truly support our values, even if it means we stay in the wilderness for a couple more elections.

Did Newt know anything about this candidate before his endorsement?
What a foolhardy thing to do- if he knew- shame on him- if he did it without knowing- double shame.
Regardless- Newt’s time has come and gone. Does anyone but Greta and Sean find him relevant?

Conservatives don’t want this “party”. It’s socialism-lite, and we’re tired of the GOP LIES.

I’m just checking but is this the same Newt Gingrich that ran our Party into the ground because he didn’t understand how to govern then and apparently still doesn’t understand how conservatives can regain power today?

The Republican Party has about 6 months to transform themselves into a party of Conservatives. If they dont, the 2010 elections may be a disaster, no matter how fed up people are with Obama. Didnt they see the 9/12 March on DC?
