“Pain killers often cause nausea and vomiting in those not accustomed to taking them.”
So does extreme fear...
“Most of us have seen the “Balloon Boy” vomit live on the Today Show this morning.”
Well you anyway, most of would hurl watching the Today Show.
The kid is sick with guilt...knowing that he was told to lie and with all the attention he’s pressured worried about screwing up and getting in trouble with his dad.
No he just responded to the questioning about his “for the show” comment the way he was coached.
personally I think everybody should hurl live when being interviewed by Matt Lauer or Ann Curry.....
Of course it was a hoax... anyone can see that the balloon is designed to look like a UFO... and big enough to be seen by many.
Science experiment my butt.
This family may actually top Jon & Kate 8 as the shallowest, most narcissistic media whores and general freaks in America.
Next, the father will run for Congress.
This is sickening. Making your own kid lie on national television. Repeatedly. Your publicity stunt went wrong. Fess up.
When your kid gets sick, you just ignore it, and keep on with the interview?!
This is a real stretch.
Even if it was all staged like he may have admitted last night, come on.
I really doubt that he was drugged.
Why are these people appearing on all of these shows, particularly when the kid implicated them in a possible
crime? You would think they would keep their mouths shut.
Poor kid but lolz...
I think I heard that this family was on “Wife Swap”. At that point they were a gnat’s whisker from Jerry Springer, and yesterday’s stunt fits with the whole scenario.
Some guy in the Boston Herald had a theory that he was looking for publicity with the hopes of landing a “The Stormchaser Family” type reality show on TLC, Discovery etc.
Yesterday the most telling thing to me was mom’s not being upset at any point. For her it was just another day of being married to nutjob. The kids should be taken away from these two and raised in a normal environment.
I think the parents were planning to use this thing they made to make a video of a flying saucer and make a claim that they actually saw one. Now the cat is out of the bag. I think that is what all the secrecy and strange behavior is about, not about the thing being let go by accident, but about being found out.
I don't think this was planned as a hoax of a boy lost in a balloon for attention...but a video about a flying saucer was what was actually planned, until Falcon messed that up by accidentally releasing the balloon.
As far as him being sick on TV...the mother sure shows no real concern. The whole family is more interested in sitting and being interviewed on TV than they are in Falcon's health and comfort. Most parents would have stopped and taken care of their child. These parents are despicable, but it is obvious the mother is under Dad's thumb.
Watching my father lie like a rug would make me sick.
I’ve only seen “Wife Swap” twice, I think, when I was stuck in the house with a cold, or there was bad weather and nothing on—it was pretty lame. Anyway, one of the shows I saw was the one with these whackjobs—Dad, the 3 brats, and to a lesser extent Mom, were some Olympic class idiots.
When the kid was up in the air, they showed their pic and said they had been on Wife Swap-I figured right away there was something hinky-in all likelihood.
If they figure it to be a hoax, they should stick that dumbass dad in jail, and bill him for the stunt. A little “belt time” with those little cretins would be a good thing too.
Christ, our country is going so far down the tubes.
I don’t want to see it, but I hope this is the last of that family, a brief 15 minutes has been more than enough.
Yeah, the kid might have been slipped something, but probably not a Mickey. Probably just something to make it look like he was vomiting. These are gross kids, kids that like to do and say gross things (as evidenced by their rap video and reportedly by how they behaved on that Wife Swap show). They probably burp and pretend to throw up and so forth all the time just for the fun of grossing people out. The father and mother are absolute attention seeking idiots, and the kids seem to be following in their footsteps. But yes, i believe the kid was told to throw up beforehand, as part of the show that their family puts on for the cameras.
