No, he doesn’t “clearly state” that, that IS what his words mean, but your title is wrong, and so is your summary.

He clearly states that he “believes in the right of the people to choose as they wish”,

later he says...

Americans should be able to able “to elect as President of the United States someone they wish”. (it ends there)

Please clarify your titles, even if it means using parenthesis and adding a clarifyer, such as...(My Title)..or..(My Words)

These are the types of titles that the KOS kiddies and DUmmies have a field day with, and sometimes we see it repeated on msnbcnn, etc., making FR look like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Thank you, I now return you to your regularly scheduled slaying of the left.LOL

Barney Frank clearly states that “natural born” should not be a requirement to be president.

Apparently neither are brains a requirement to be the congressional homo for the Fourth District of Massachusetts.

Orly’s websites are under constant attack by the anti-American, extremist, haters...the DNC and their Army of the Stupid. They are constantly reporting that they have picked up a virus and/or malware by visiting them. They have even been able to cause an infection of her sites, which then verifies that the site are or have been malicious.

If you have good protection, just continue on to the site, if in doubt, try the cached version, or the Internet Archive.

that "natural born" should not be a [constitutional] requirement to be president.

That is a perfectly valid opinion regardless of who proffers the opinion.

The issue comes down to how one goes about furthering their opinion. A Representative can propose an amendment to remove the restriction or just ignore the Constitution. Ignoring the Constitution appears to be the more popular method used by Barney Frank and his colleagues.

It is very similar to the constitutional restriction forbidding residents of Washington D. C. from voting. There are those in Congress who just lobby to ignore the Constitution in lieu of lobbing for an amendment.

I oppose all those who can’t find merit in the constitutional process. If the cause is noble why not use the noble process of constitutional amendment?

Sure...why not? Who would know better rather than this POS? Besides, we’re just dining room tables. We don’t need a Constitution...these SOBs do their own thing anyway.

Bawney justifying Kenyans again.

They can try to pull that crap if the time comes but I think they would do so at their own peril.

"Natural born" should Not Be A Requirement

Nice to see they no longer even pretend to believe the Constitution has any role in contemporary government.

Thammit, Mithis Thrank!

Ith not a matter oth whether or not “Nathural Born” thould be a requirement tho be Prethident...according to the Consthitution., it ith a requirementh!!!

And you thook an oath to pretherve, prothect, and dethend the Consthitution as it ith, not ath you want ith to be!

For the non fudgepacking, sausage smoking translation:

Dammit, Mrs. Frank! It’s not a matter of whether or not “Natural Born” should be a requirement to be President...according to the Constitution, it IS a requirement!

And you took an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution as it IS, not as you WANT it to be!

So instead of amending the Constitution, they’ll just ignore it.

Why not? It's worked so far.
