Perhaps when we all refer to Obama, we should call him “Kenyan-born Barack Obama”. None of these newspapers ever corrected themselves on the issue, did they??

Well, they should accept a COLB of that form. They shouldn’t accept Obama’s, because it’s quite clearly a fake, but they probably would if they don’t verify it too closely.

Of course, for the presidency, vetting should be thorough enough to root out fraud in documentation.

Here's a thought -- perhaps there's more evidence from this time period. After all, the "immigrant success story" has been a perennial media favorite. You know how it goes -- poor boy from 3rd-world country comes to USA & gets elected to Congress.

In fact, the story is such a "winner" that it might even have been used in campaign materials!

Are there any Illinois Freepers that can search for old material? Just think of the impact if we could find an "Obama for Senate" brochure, in hard copy that takes this line!

Good find. Obama would never have made it to Senate but he and his gang(Axelrod) forced the courts to unseal the divorce details of his opponent.
