Senators Following Slower Path on Immigration [Graham, Schumer will ram amnesty down our throats]
Roll Call ^ | 2009-10-16 | Jessica Brady

Although Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) vowed this week to introduce comprehensive immigration reform next month, his Senate counterparts expected to take the lead on the issue aren’t heeding a similar timeline.

“That’s new to me,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said of Gutierrez’s announcement, made Tuesday at an immigration rally on Capitol Hill.

“I’ve been talking to Sen. Schumer, and we hope to get something done that’s comprehensive,” Graham added. “We just don’t know when yet.”

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who chairs the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security, has been meeting periodically with Graham to discuss ideas on immigration, but the Senate duo has no plans to offer legislation in the near term as the Senate looks to pass a massive health care package.

“We have to get health care done first,” Graham said.

Memo to self and others: Buy more ammo and get some more range work. It’s going to come to this.

How about they can live here legally but they are not VOTING citizens...for 25 years or maybe forever...this would be welcoming and wold honor those who choose to jump through the ropes and respect our laws as opposed to the line crashers who shoule not be on equal ground with those willing to enter the right way. That we we are kind, but the Dems are exposed as simply looking for votes. The opposition has to start figuring out ways to float things that seem to be agreeable in the major parts, but which have a glitch which exposes the real underlying goals.

WHO FUNDS LINDSEY?

Is it ACORN? After all, Lindsey voted "present" from McCain's closet (who also voted present) on defunding ACORN. This is something freepers can find out.

Trial lawyers? I already know the answer to that one.

What crooked corporation wants open borders like Bush? I have always been baffled by this one. I'm sure it relates to who has padded Lindsey's war chest.

We can fight, if we know who is pulling the poor little Lindsey puppet strings.

The end result of that would be a repeat of the 86 Amnesty, which is the cause of of the mess we are in now. What you suggest is a compromise, anything other than NO will be sold by the coyote cartels in Mexico as amnesty, illegals will immediately flood over the border, in order to be here for the next amnesty, as they have been since the 86 amnesty.

Twenty two years of calling the Border Patrol to pick up illegals is enough. It has finally slowed, let's not do anything to get it going again.

The RNC should publicly condemn Lindsey Graham. But they won’t.

QUOTING CONG TOM TANCREDO: “Juan Hernandez headed up the newly-created "Ministry of Mexicans Living in the United States." Hernandez is a very interesting fellow, a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, and a good friend of presidents Bush and Mexico's Vicente Fox (and John MacCain's Hispanic outreach man)."

Hernandez said the purpose of the Mexican government agency he heads is:

(1) to increase the flow of Mexican nationals to the United States.....

(2) to serve Mexico’s needs.........

(3) to increase remittances to Mexico of $50 billion a year (30% of the Mexican GDP);

(4) to get US jobs for an exploding Mexican population, alleviating social instability due to rising unemployment;

(5) to get free US training for Mexicans, who are expected to return and repatriate those skills back to Mexico.

Hernandez supports amnesty: "By populating the United States with millions of Hispanics tied economically, politically and linguistically to Mexico, we are able to exert enormous influence and pressure on US policy and its dealings with Mexico." NOTE: That means billions of US tax dollars subsidizing corrupt federales.

======================================

An immigration judge recently refused to grant "political asylum" in the US to a Honduran national who was claiming "persecution" ........... and the monetary benefits that come with it.

ANALYSIS Corrupt Third World govts are coaching their citizens to whine about "persecution" to seek "asylum" in the US.......b/c they know that they can collect Soc/Sec checks (even though they have not contributed one red cent to SS).

CASE IN POINT The bogus Mexican "drug war" was engineered to create a whole new class of illegal connivers....."persecuted refugees" seeking "asylum" in the US.

BACKSTORY Social Security's "persecution" classification was once reserved for those claiming religious or political persecution. Now the Mexican govt is coaching its citizens to pour into the US, whining about "persecution from abusive spouses, and from drug wars". Some of these whiners are wealthy people , squatting on US soil, intent on draining the US treasury.

THE RIPOFF UP CLOSE Social Security provides outrageous government financial aid to "refugees" claiming "persecution." These people never paid a dime into the SS system; yet, they can collect seven years straight...... and can get extended payments if they are politically well-connected. The SS checks can amount to $1000 a month, and more. The category was created for those coming from eastern Europe and other Soviet satellite countries circa WW II....and they're STILL collecting. Just another way these connivers drain the US Treasury.

=================================

ACTION NOW Call your reps and demand these payments and the "persecuted refugee" classification be stopped.

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio has the right idea. When will pols stand up for the USA? Stopping illegals from entering our country would save billions by not having to subsidize every whim of these people. DHS Secy Enabler Janet Napolitano should be arrested for inciting sedition.

If this is stopped, there is no hope for the conservative movement or this country. Get busy with building up mass opposition to this now.

Which only begs the question, if Americans don’t have the will not stop it through legal means, how will they through other ones?

“The RNC should publicly condemn Lindsey Graham.”

There’s rumblings that Graham can be removed from the senate by the South Carolina state legislature for misconduct. I’d guess it’s based on a law passed prior to the 17th amendment, and it was never cleared from the books.

It sure would be an interesting fight.

No link. Just reporting “rumblings” heard on local talk radio. If it gets “legs,” I’m sure the Charleston paper will pick it up. I seriously doubt, though, that the RINOs in the state legislature would ever consider smashing Graham.

Shut up, Lindsey.

Gosh, I should have gone to that town meeting just to tell him that.

Is there nothing that Congress does that does not get billed as “comprehensive”? We need a new definition in Webster’s Dictionary for “comprehensive”; to wit: comprehensive v. deprive, as in “I will comprehensive your income and there is nothing you can do.; force, as in “Congress comprehensives health care”.
