I just Googled and got the office phone numbers for my Senators and Representative. I'm going to call their offices tomorrow on the drive to work and tell their staffers in no uncertain terms what one of their constituents wants: a resounding no vote. If they vote for the healthcare "reform" (aka socialist power grab) it will result in their death (figuratively). If they vote for this nightmare I will not only vote for who-ever runs against them, regardless of any other issues, but I will also contribute to their opponent's campaigns - both time/volunteering and money.

I have never volunteered nor contributed to a campaign before, but as God is my witness, I will go against any of them, regardless of party, that vote for this takeover of our lives.

Just to make sure they get the message, I intend to put the numbers on speed dial and call them every day on my way to work. I've got lots of rollover minutes to burn. I can call them every day for a year and not run out. So they are going to hear from me until this mess is defeated. Or they'll hear how I'm helping their opponent.

i keep a call log. i’ve been hung up on sixteen times by my democratic senator’s dc staffer this year. repetitive calling works - and they will try to force you to give up your name and address so they can ditch your call. if they are mean to you, keep asking them questions like “what do you think your leader is hiding by not showing his long form bc like everyone else has to?”
